A large component of our work as Art Speak Interns includes learning about Asian art and culture. Luckily, the classroom is in our backyard. Through in-depth tours with curators of both special and permanent collections, we learn not only about older art practices, but also their importance and significance in the modern world. We also have the chance to see and discover various performances from Tinikling to Bharatanatyam.
